Nugent CM, LLC operates separately as both a construction management firm as acting agents of the client and as a general contracting company specializing in residential projects.
Nugent Construction Management (Nugent CM) was founded with the goal of championing successful construction projects that improve the way we live, work, learn, heal, shop, dine and relax. Working as a seamless extension of its clients, the firm allows owners and organizations to focus on their core business, while saving them money and eliminating "construction headaches." While each project has its own vision, stakeholders, budget, and schedule; Nugent CM believes they all benefit from organized Construction Management, lessons-learned, and cooperative team building among owner, users, designer, engineer, contractor, and regulatory agencies.
Nugent CM specializes in the construction of luxury goods retail shops, showrooms, offices, residences and outdoor living spaces. Clients include leading European home goods and fashion labels, luxury retail flagship stores throughout the US, private owners of residential estates and homes, as well as a variety of commercial and healthcare organizations. Repeat clients continually site NugentCM's attention to detail as the reason they continue to work with the firm.
Additionally, NugentCM is always expanding its knowledge and resources of innovative and sustainable building practices. Our Principal is a LEED Accredited Professional and is active in industry and community organizations devoted to sustainability and conservation initiatives.

Edward is the Managing Principal of NugentCM, providing leadership and overseeing each of the firm’s projects. He has over 30 years of experience successfully realizing complex commercial and residential construction projects and has earned the lessons learned to foresee and overcome construction challenges and obstacles. Edward works closely with project owners and construction project teams to balance construction costs and schedules, while building inviting and luxurious spaces that improve the user experience.
A former in-house construction manager for a luxury goods company owning Frette Linens and Henry Cotton's, Edward oversaw the design and construction of over ten new stores throughout the US (Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills; South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA; Vail, CO; Chicago; among others), while simultaneously leading the design and build-out of new showrooms and offices in Midtown Manhattan. Edward continues to work with fashion and retail organizations for seasonal improvements to stores and showrooms, and to create custom "pop-up shops" for trade shows and temporary retail spaces.
Earlier in his career, Edward was a framer and site superintendent for several residential developments in Westchester County and a finish carpenter performing historic restoration to facilities such as Union Theological Seminiary in New York and the US Military Academy at West Point. He maintains a workshop that crafts custom furniture and fixtures upon commission. Edward is based out of NugentCM’s Fort Montgomery, NY home and works throughout the Metropolitan area and beyond.
